National Teams

France has been a member of World Lacrosse since 2008, with the Men’s Field Lacrosse National Team competing in European and World Championships since, achieving their highest ever ranking of 18th in the world at the 2023 World Championships.

Men’s Sixes and Box teams made their first appearances in 2025 at the Eurolax tournament in Faro, Portugal and E-Box in Prague, Czechia respectively.

The first ever French Women’s lacrosse team made competed at the Women’s European Sixes Qualifiers in Faro, Portugal, March 2025. To date there is no women’s Field lacrosse team but a French women’s Box team is in the works.

All national teams are overseen by executive head coach Dylan Snyder, under whom a team of coaches operate to help develop each national program, team and individual players, as well as the overall growth of the game in France.
